Decorating for Halloween is always my favorite way to get in the spirit. Which leads to this question: Does your neighborhood have that one house that starts preparing for Halloween in August or September? You know the one, that house that always has the most trick-or-treaters and lines of cars parked up and down the street to catch a glimpse of some really ghouly spookiness! These houses always have the coolest displays. Animatronics, singing and talking skeletons, fog machines, crazy lights and plenty of blood and gore.

Taking a picture of your yard haunt during the day simply doesn’t do it justice. We all want to give our pictures that spooky feel that you can only get from darkness, but taking pictures at night can be very challenging because of the lack of light and the images usually end up smudged, blurry or way too dark.
